Happy Father’s Day

I hope all you dads out there are getting spoiled today and feeling the love from your littles!

I fell in love with this sweet newborn shot from a recent session. It seems like just a quick second that they fit into Daddy’s hands this way…

Kids Were Here

KIDS WERE HERE is a group of photographers documenting evidence that kids were here.

When I heard about this project, I knew I had to participate. Lord knows I have plenty of inspiration at my house. Sometimes I’m simply amazed at the level of destruction that two small children can bring to our family’s home but other times the little stories they leave behind make me smile. I find Barbies and army men in the most interesting of positions, undoubtedly waiting to be rescued by Prince or Princess Charming. There are typically bandaids intentionally stuck to the hardwood floors in one room or another  – place markers for a doll dance class. The list goes on and on. Kids are definitely here…

Sunset Madness

There is nothing like a stunning sunset to make me want to start snapping away. Last weekend, our family joined a few others at a farm about 45 minutes outside the city. It was gorgeous in the daylight but the sunset was unbelievable. I’d been wanting to take some silhouette shots and this was the perfect chance. The wide open space and the gorgeous light was just what I had been waiting for…

Robin - Beautiful silhouettes! I especially love the two of the children interacting with each other.

Christy Harper - wonderful images 🙂
